I double checked last night, and threw every program capable of
accessing the Mac hard drive and deleteing files. None could find
finder.data or finder.root. As I posted before, I all ready have deleted
them. I even used the program that hunts for finder.data files called
(most likely mispelled) "scrabadernie", or something similar.

Any further ideas or additonal programs I should try that I can download
directly onto 1.44 MB 3.5" MS-DOS disks or 720K MS-DOS disks. (My
library uses IBMs, and my SuperDrive and/or PC Transporter can handle
the disks)
