I don't know what rumormongering scare publications you read, but
there are plenty of computers right now that are powering on the SCSI
at the same time as the motherboard. Macs, PCs, and workstations with
builtin SCSI devices all power them on at the same time as the
processor. [I've proven that at home and at work with my PCs--
running with the case off, both the SCSI HD and the CPU fire up as
soon as I flip the switch. Same with the internal Pegasus HD in my ROM
3 GS.]
Please make sure your facts match reality before you go around and
try to pass them on.
