You could call it a go-between if you put the Mac on localtalk and copied
files to it then switched to ethernet to copy 'em off. Wouldn't call that
a bridge.

Yep and it costs $60ish I think.

Nope, the bridges need an '020. I found it out the hard way when I used an
SE to run Appleshare. LW Bridge crashes a 68000 box with no explanation. So
I recycled the usable parts of the SE to build an SE/30. Such is progress.

For anyone wanting to connect a II to another kind of box running ethernet,
a hardware bridge is the way to go. Someone was selling Fastpath 4s here
for $15 not long ago, which works great. It's what I use.
