I just got a ROM 03, tell me what is wrong with it

I brought my ROM 03 GS home, it would not start up (everything attached, 
the power light did not come on or anything.)



So, I switched power supplies.  The problem was fixed, and the machine 
would now boot and run software


I stuck a RAMfast SCSI into Slot 7, and a TWGS in Slot 3.


I powered up, and the screen would flash between blue and white.  I 
removed all drives, keyboard, just had the computer and monitor hooked up, 
still flashing.


I then took out all cards and ***boot****, and I get a screen full of 
inverse characters.


I press cntl, openapple, closedapple, reset, and I get the Self Test, The 
sound from the GS speaker, and System OK on the screen.



I now get inverse characters on the screen upon boot, and it will not 
start up.


Any Ideas?
