The card works perfectly, just as is. I put it in slot
3, and switch the switch as necessary.

The II and II+ had (up to) 6 ROMS at *2K* each, for a
total of 12K. They map into the address space from
$D000 through $FFFF.

The //e has two *8K* ROMS, or one *16K* ROM. They
map to the address space from $C000 through $FFFF.
The area from $C000-$CFFF is expansion ROM, and is used
primarily for 80-column and extended memory functions.

As mentioned above, I just plug it in and turn it on.
With the ROM card active, it overrides the motherboard
ROMs from $D000 through $FFFF, giving the machine the
personality of whatever ROMs are on the card. The
expansion ROM from $C000 through $CFFF stays usable, so
80-column and extended memory functions still work.
It's totally transparent to the machine, and REALLY
slick. IMNSHO.
