Sun Remarketing was selling brand-new boxed platinum Apple IIe's
for US$99 several months back, but as much of a bargain this is when
compared to what Apple charged, it is _much_ more than a IIe is worth
today in 1997. Besides which, I wonder if they even have any left in
stock, aside from refurbished ones. No, I'll wait until I find one at
a thrift shop or garage-sale for a couple of dollars. :) (or rescue
one from the trash, which was the case with two of my beige IIe's ;)
