This is so sad. I can't believe  people would trash a working computer.

These are no doubt the same people who go out and spend a couple of grand
on a gazillion megahertz box and then buy home automation software
or telephone answering software.

I made my mind up a long time ago when the //e gets retired it will be
semi retired. It will serve me in less direct but just as personal ways.

I used to cringe at the thought of the //e relegated to turning on the
coffee pot, watering the lawn and keeping the temp just right but
that sure beats the trash can.

Any other thoughts semi retirement uses?
What thing have others done?
