Sometimes, when people first get Convert 3200, they get less than
satisfactory results. For the most part, it seems that once they read the
documentation, the quality of their conversions is greatly increased.
 
I suppose that one reason for this is that there's never been another
graphics conversion program quite like Convert 3200. The amount of
manipulation that a user can do to a graphic in Convert 3200 is staggering.
Yet, to tap the full potential of Convert 3200, it is absolutley mandatory
that you read the docs.
 
That said, for the most part, Convert 3200 does produce a "keeper" on the
first attempt.
 
If you are having problems getting a "keeper" graphic, please either send me
a copy of the original unconverted graphic, or if you got it from the net,
please send me the location (or URL) of that graphic....so that I can see
with my own eyes what problems you are encountering.
 
Due to the resolution of the IIGS, you're not always going to be able to get
a great conversion. If a graphic started out life as a 800 x 600 photograph
with zillions of colors, then you might not get an acceptable conversion
using ANY of the IIGS graphics conversion programs.
 
In any case, please send me a sample unconverted graphic so that I can see
exactly what you mean.
