You would need to change the character generator ROM in the IIe or IIc.
The ROM chips used are:
342-0133 Original ][e
342-0265 Enhanced //e anc //c ---- US version
342-0273 United Kingdom
342-0274 French
342-0275 German
342-0276 Italian
342-0307 Western Spanish
342-0306 Western French
Other than the first two I have not seen thses chips. I would be interesting
to see the differences between them. I believe that there were also
different keycaps to go with the different ROMs.
