New FAQ sites? (was Re: Nathan does it again!)

low and behold... I went to lookup something on the saintly a2 faq
(god knows you can't post here without first checking it), and I got
htis message:
404 Access Denied
Your requested page will not be provided for you due to users at
your domain being or
associating with a known software pirate, drug addict, and all
round village idiot, Charles
Turley.
Further information regarding his crimes and looney-bin behavior
can be viewed here or
here.
I do not feel it appropriate for my hard work to be ripped off,
inanely commented on, and
generally dissed by this slimeball or his minions. If and when
Charles Turley fulfils on
his promises to leave the Apple II community for good, these pages
will revert to being
unrestricted. Thank you for your patience.
You sure can tell that Nathan cares about the a2 community since he
banned the whole 'execpc.com' domain to keep me out. Execpc happens to
be the largest ISP in wisconsin and I wonder how many "innocent" a2
users will now be unable to read the damn faq.

This is surprising information. There is normally no problem with
someone choosing to exclude access to his/her private site. Excluding
access to the csa2 FAQ's is another matter.
Csa2 members have, for some time, tolerated claims that the FAQ's of
the world's major Apple II newsgroup could be restricted to a particular
site. Such claims are, of course, silly.
Csa2 members have been willing to put up with a bit of nonsense
because the current FAQ keeper has done good work. He inherited a large
body of information and has done a good job in organizing it. The current
FAQ keeper has, also, done a good job in collecting new information from
csa2 posts, etc., adding additional insights, and maintaining the
resulting product on a site where it could be accessed by users.
Unfortunately, it now appears that our FAQ keeper is attempting to
use FAQ access as a weapon against csa2 members. This is a shame and,
really, rather sad. There is no wish to loose the services of the current
FAQ keeper.
Implicit in being accepted as FAQ keeper is the requirement that one
guarantee that the FAQ's be readily available for downloading by any
Apple II user from an open, free site. If the restriction on access is
not soon removed, it will be necessary to upload the csa2 FAQ's, perhaps
in reorganized form, to one or more new sites.
