I would like to say that ALL macs and clones are rubbish. I have got a $9000 powerbook and compared to a 386 dx 40 it is bloody slow. Prices are terrible too, I can get an IBM compat. note book (166MMX, 32mb RAM, etc, etc.) for $2300. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THE APPLE II's WERE FAR SUPERIOR TO ANY MACS OR MAC CLONES AND I WOULD RATHER USE A VIC 20 THAN AN APPLE MAC OR COMPATIBLE.
