Provided you know how to remove and insert chips without breaking their legs
or inserting them backwards, this will work perfectly. All my //e computers
have had 65c02 chips inserted into them after I got them (my clone //e has
a 65802).

Two possible problems - if the //e is not enhanced (indicated by the 6502)
then it will not have mousetext in its character generator ROM so you will
not have this functionality if you put the //e video ROM in the //c.
The other problem depends on the //e and the //c (some have 2764 (28 pin)
video ROMs while others have 2732 (24 pin)). Provided your two machines
have the same size chip it will work.
