3.5" UniDisk on IIc

I've got one for you to work on. Just my IIc out after a year in storage.
I booted up a system disk first, on the UniDisk and it booted just fine.
After leaving the program, I tried to boot AW 3.0 on the same drive. I
rebooted the system disk and verified the disk and it showed there were
bad blocks. So, I grabbed a different AW disk and tried that one and it
would not load ProDOS either. I then used the ProDOS selector and chose
AW.sys to load AW, but it crashed.

I then took the disks to my trusty IIgs and everything worked fine on the
3.5" drives. I then transferred my 3.5" UniDisk to my gs and tried it
there. It would boot the System Disk, but not the AW disks. When I used
GS/OS to verify the disks, all the disks in the UniDisk showed bad blocks,
but were fine in the Apple 3.5" drives. Now I figure my UniDisk has real
dirty heads or is shot, but anyone have the reason the system disk works
in the drive while all others fail?
