Well, I don't want to spoil your fun, but the Sonic Blaster was clearly a
low-end sound card. I did actually enjoy it, too, but there were cards with
much, much superior sound quality. The volume pods soon started to become
unreliable, the sound was noisy, no cinch out. I would describe it "generic AE
junk priced right".

As of today, the FutureVision is still the card I loved most. The only
tradeoffs were the painfully slow software and the insufficient soldering of
the cable, but sound was crisp and ultraclear.
