Paul,

I use my Imagewriter II with my Pentium from comm port 1. I use the
C.Itoh 8510SC+NLQ driver found at their web site.

I use spool settings:

print after first page spooled
to printer - RAW

and I make sure that the port setting for the printer is hardware
controlled or I get garbage.

The only problem with the printer and this driver that I have is it
starts every print job with two random characters at the top of the
first page. If it's important though, you can hold a card under the head
for the first few seconds until it does this and then it's beautiful and
in color! Did I mention it was slow?
