     Yes; this was one of my early ideas, too. (The first idea was to 
just buy a serial card and do NULL modem transfers.)  However, having to 
add RS-232 interface IC's or a serial card would defeat the design idea 
of the project-- i.e. doing transfers without adding any hardware.

     Evidently, Bob plans to use a Sound Card's analog input as the 
receiver.
