    Incidentally, I just tested my ImageWriter II with Windows 95 the
other day and it worked fine with the included driver. From the list
of manufactures choose 'C-Itoh' and then pick 'C-Itoh 8510' (the only
available printer in the list). It printed graphics and text, though
only in black and white. A few years back I remember being able to
print color with Windows 3.1, perhaps that driver above was used?
In any case, you can use the printer immediately once you have the
proper cable (just remember to use the serial port of course).

    Oh, and if you wish to use it from DOS, add the following lines
to your Autoexec.bat file:  

mode lpt1:=comX
mode comX:96,n8,1   (x = COMM port your using)
