For your information,  Microsoft Memphis (aka WINDOWS '98), has the
capability of dual monitors.  In fact, it has the capability of using up
to 9 monitors, assuming your system has the slots for 9 video cards. 
Granted it's a pain in the ass to configure, especially with different
video card, but it does has the capability.  Microsoft plans on using
this feature as one of it's selling points when WIN '98 finally gets
released.  If only Apple had made an effort in showing off the
capabilities of the MAC years ago they would not be in such trouble
today.

As for the concepts of switching your computer on/off from the keyboard
or switching keyboards/mice without rebooting.  I seriously doubt people
will rush out to buy a MAC (or any kind of computer) just because it can
do that.
