Error type 11

Each time I start my PowerMac 8100, I do get the following message:

   Sorry, a system error occured.
   "Finder"
   error type 11

I can't restart from the screen, using the Restart command from the Special
menu of the Finder.

The same message appears when restarting off the keyboard.

The only way I can use the computer is to press the Restart button on the
computer itself. 

Could anyone advise my please?
