Converting Binary Files To ASCII Text Files, Help Needed

I am trying to convert (binary) files created by Bank Street Writer Plus
to (ASCII) text files. Ultimately they will be transfered to a pc disk.
I have Apple IIgs and Mac, so then I can transfer them to a pc disk.
 
I can load them directly into AppleWorks by telling AppleWorks that they
are text files and then print them to a disk file, but that would require
doing it one at a time.   There are over 170 files.
 
I am looking for a utility that will convert them all at once without
having to load and print to disk each one of them.
 
I'd like it to be ShareWare, FreeWare, or Public Domain if possible.
 
I have so many programs in my "empire", I may even have what I need already
and just don't remember it.
