Spare parts for this might be available from Alltech Electronics,
Shreve Systems or Sun Remarketing. See section 10.2 of the FAQ at
http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html for more info.

The FAQ should make it quite clear that even with a GS, only the
original Stylewriter works with the System 6.0.1 (and soon Harmonie)
drivers. If you want inkjet off a //c, I'd suggest the HP line of
printers, but with a few caveats: the Deskjet line is normally
parallel printers, while the //c is serial. If you can find a serial
<-> parallel converter, this ($35 from Alltech as listed on their web
pages) would probably be the best quality solution.

Looks like Apple's still trying to gouge on prices if they're
trying to peddle an Imagewriter (their last line of dot matrix
printers) on you for $400. Check out either comp.sys.apple2.marketplace,
or one of the places I mentioned above. Alltech's web page lists an
Imagewriter I for $69, the II for $119. The Imagewriter I is slower
and older, but will probably do just fine with the //c and whatever
software you're using. [You may need to go into the printer setup for
any applications that are used to print and tell the computer it's
an Imagewriter, not a Scribe, but that shouldn't take long]
