Hmmm. When folks get the next issue (within probably the next 2 weeks or 
so), I think they will understand why I've been a little pre-occupied 
recently.
 
I'm starting to think of this upcoming issue as "The Mother Of All 'Such A
Deal' Issues," meaning of course, that I've been incredibly busy negotiating
with a number of different Apple II companies in order to bring readers some
spectacular money saving deals.
 
Let's just say, for now, that SSII subscribers will soon be able to avail
themselves of the lowest pricing ever available on products from 
companies such as Vitesse, EGO Systems, WestCode Software and Kitchen 
Sink Software. 
 
Unfortunately, setting those deals up has taken a lot of my time. But, 
for now, the next newsletter is going "full steam ahead."
 
As far as Willie's criticism/complaint about SSII not taking credit
cards...quilty as charged. However, Shareware Solutions II can accept 
personal checks, written in foreign currencies, from something like 27 
different countries...Australia being one of those. Other countries 
include...all of Western Europe and Japan. 

(I've never really publicized that, as there are many more countries 
whose checks I can't accept than countries whose checks I can accept. 
Actually, I did post a notice here a few years back, and wouldn't you 
know it...the first check that came in wasn't from one of those 27 
countries....and it was just much more trouble than it was worth.) 
 
In order to accept foreign checks, with no service charge to either you 
or to me, there's some special instructions that I'd need to pass along. 
E-mail is probably best for that. Let's just say...I think I found a 
loop-hole in International Banking Regulations ;-)
 
In any case, here's the latest info on subscription costs...
 
    1. A One Year, 6 Issue Subscription: This subscription starts with
       the current issue of Shareware Solutions II. The cost is $25 for
       US or Canadian delivery; $40 for delivery anywhere else in the
       world. Please note that all issues are mailed by First Class Air
       Mail. This is also the cost for a 6 issue renewal.
 
    2. The First 24 Issues: This subscription includes the first 24
       issues of Shareware Solutions II. It includes all the back issues
       published to date (16 issues have been published as of April,
       1997), and will run through Volume 4, Issue 6 (due to appear in
       late-1998 or early-1999). This 24 issue subscription is available
       at the rate of $75 to subscribers in the US or Canada, and $100
       for International subscribers. Please note that all issues are
       mailed by First Class Air Mail.
