Jay, I've still got a ROM 01 machine which has 2 HDs attached, a 4MB RAM
card,used to have a modem, has GS/OS 6.0.1, etc. The *main* difference in
the ROM 03 machines was that some of the toolbox was in the ROM and
therefore didn't have to be on the startup disk.  Other than that, I'm not
aware of any significant advantages over ROM 01 models.  I certainly don't
think there's anything that would warrant switching motherboards.
