There are two ways to convert JPEG on the IIGS.

First, there is Jpeg.PreRelease, which is an application program, which allows
you to view Jpegs.  If you have winImage (SDGS 82), you can even save and/or
print the image.

Second, there is djpeg, a shell utility.  It requires a shell to run (such as
GNO or ORCA).  This program doesn't show the graphic, but it does convert
the graphic to any of a number of forms (the default is GIF).  The archive
is called JPEGv6.SHK and you can find it on any of the ftp sites.

Both of these are freeware.

However, to use these, you must convert the image to Default Colors, 640 mode.
Use any of a bunch of Converter programs to accomplish this.
