First of all, check your Mac software library for a GZIP unpacker.
If you don't have it, download it from a Mac ftp sites.
(oh, sorry now rereading the above, you already have Macgzip)

Second, you need a program called DSK2FILE from the Apple II FTP
archive at ground.isca.uiowa.edu's 8-bit utilities folder
(http://ground.isca.uiowa.edu/apple2/apple8/Utils/) named dsk2file.shk.

Here is the procedure, once you have the software:
1) ungzip the files on your Mac.
2) copy the resulting .dsk files to an _800K_ standard Macintosh
   (HFS) floppy disk.  It must be DS/DD 800K unless your GS happens
   to have a high density floppy drive.
3) take the Mac disk to your GS and boot GS/OS on the GS
4) make sure the HFS FST is installed on the GS (I emailed you
   the source for System 6.0.1 for the GS a week or two ago).
5) put the Mac disk in your GS drive and it will appear on the GS
   Finder.
6) copy the .dsk files from the Mac HFS 3.5" disk to a ProDOS
   formatted 3.5" disk.
7) Take the Mac HFS 3.5" disk out of the drive and keep the ProDOS
   3.5" disk there.
8) put in a ProDOS formatted 5.25" disk in the 5.25" drive.
9) launch DSK2FILE
10) set the input file to a .dsk file on your 3.5" ProDOS disk and
    the output drive to your 5.25" disk drive.
11) begin conversion
12) finished!  The 5.25" disk now holds the converted .dsk image.
