Re: EGO Systems, RIP

Seems like every other month another Apple II company folds. :(
Well, I knew EGO Systems was going to disappear, the writing was on
the wall as soon as GS+ Magazine was cancelled. It became really
apparent Diz would close his business when he announced the 800
toll-free line was no more and that EGO Systems would only be
opened for business something like 2-3 days a week.

What firm is left? Charlie's Appleseed is no more either, other than
being a distributor for ProSel. I suppose that only leaves Shareware
Solutions II, which seems to pick up slack whenever another Apple II
resource disappears. Oh, speaking of which, is Diz going to continue
writing for the SSII newsletter? I've enjoyed that, since it has been
like a piece of GS+ Magazine has lived on.

Sequential Systems? Don't you perhaps mean REMCorp, the company who
makes the product? I wonder how EGO Systems disappearing will affect
the ZipGS, EGO was their official (and only) distributor for the card.
Will they sell it directly now, or will it just not be sold any longer?
