    Which, the "8443"? No surprise, that number is the manufacture's
batch code date. :) It simply states that 6502 was manufactured on
43rd week (late October?) of 1984. I have the exact same chip (a 4 MHz 
Rockwell 6502) manufactured the 42nd week of 1984 by coincidence. :)

    Yep, and it's worth noting the other two chips were the original
CD and EF firmware ROMs from an Apple IIe (unenhanced). It's just a 
pulled chipset left over from a IIe enhancement upgrade, I have at 
least two such sets laying around here myself.
