It is designed to fit precisely between the GS case and the monitor,
raising the monitor an inch or two, and giving you two front-panel
illuminated switches. Yes, it includes surge suppression. More
important, it also includes a *fan*.
Mine sits on top of the IIgs, but the monitor sits on the desk (the GS is
in a cabinet next to the desk, since there is no room for it on top)

Technically, you should probably change that .sig, Joe...take a look
inside your GS, and you will notice the Applesoft ROM, which has imprinted
on it quite clearly, "(C) 1977 MICROSOFT".
Of course, we all know (hopefully) that back in 1977, Microsoft wrote
*good* software, back when it was Mr. Gates and his Apple. Before
programs were written by committee. Hmmm...What do you suppose was the
last bit of code that Bill Gates actually *wrote* for Microsoft...
Oh...if you are looking for a mostly-flame-free (completely flame-free
until just recently...) newsgroup, I can name one...Well, maybe I
shouldn't. But if you can figure out what that thing is in my .sig, you
can probably figure out the group... 8-)
