I briefly connected my Zip drive to my IIgs with Apple High-Speed SCSI
card, and it seemed to work fine.  The only annoyance was that
Mac-formatted disks appeared to have additional partitions on them (this
was discussed in a recent posting here - the driver partition has a
partition owner which is not recognised by the Apple SCSI driver as
being a driver, so it tries to mount it as a user partition.)

I was also able to partition a ZIP disk.
