Apparently you didn't read the rest of my post which read "or you can get
one used."  I was only trying to point her to a *source* of Apple //
modems.  She WILL need the special //c modem cable as well--as I would lay
odds that right now she doesn't have one and they are extremely (if not
impossible) hard to find locally.  My point was that she could find both at
Scantron Computers.
