Hi all.
I will be setting up some hard drives for some GS machines
for use in a HS classroom. To prevent casual student mucking about,
I would like to hide as much of the system as I can.
I am wondering:
* Is there a way to prevent the control panels from showing up in
the Apple menu?
* Is the a way to hide the entire menu bar? (I thought I once saw
a utility to do this, not sure why I would want to now)
* Is there a way to hide the preferences options? This one pretty crucial
as I figured the easiest way to protect folders was to set invisible
attributes for "sensitive" folders.
many thanks for any answers or other security ideas!
