Actually Genie has something called the "Internet Launchpad" which has the
required UNIX programs to make SIS work. If the Comm. Net doesn't have the
tools to support SIS, it is definetly possible to have the right tools put
in place. Have the Halifax admin send e-mail to shssdave@aol.com to find
out what is needed on the ISP ends of things.

The communication level to the Server is very easy to modify. All you
will need to do is write a new library--the main scripts will not need
to be touched. The library uses the standard Spectrum macro language
so it is very easy to modify.
