I would support the TurboRez and any other new graphics cards that
might come out with drivers for Facelift, or help others write the
drivers. (It's quite simple really.) If I might be permitted to give
a little plug again, Facelift provides a common API for any graphics
board, bypassing QuickDraw, so programmers could write code once and
have it run on both the SS and TurboRez, without giving up SHR-only
support (unless you need the higher color or pixel resolutions).

That part of Facelift has been done for quite some time, and everything
a programmer would need (except the drivers) is available for free on
my FTP site. No one, to my knowledge, has used it yet, though, so until
the toolbox patches are finished, there doesn't seem any reason to
release only that part.
