Re: IIc --> RGB monitor



   If you plug the composite output of the IIc into a color composite 
monitor and compare it with the RGB output of the GS monitor, you will 
see the color differences.  This is because the Video 7 puts out a 
digital signal of 16 colors and the GS analog monitor can only interpret 
8 of them and these aren't even correct.  Used with a digital RGB 
monitor, the IIc can transmit 16 colors correctly.  The 80 column text is 
outstanding, however and I use a Video 7 on my IIc connected to a GS 
monitor for this reason.  It makes online use and text work with 
AppleWorks much more pleasant.
