An un-upgraded ][+ has:

-No lower case
-No "Apple" keys
-No 9-pin joystick port (only a 16-pin one inside)
-48K RAM
-No Auxillary Slot, so 80 column text can be kinda problematic, and   
 Double-high resoultion graphics are OUT.
-No MouseText characters
