Hi,
  I recently encountered this same trouble.

Try this:

1) Boot Install Disk
2) Quit from INstaller to program launcher
3) Select "Finder" From */System folder on boot partition
4) Rename Icons folder on Boot Part and restart hard disk
5) If that doesn't work simply back-up and throw away your Icons folder
