Hmm, wait a second. If I understood it correctly, AWGS has been updated, at
least heavily bug-fixed. The reason why it did never see the daylight was for
purely financial reasons, and not because of some weird code. (It *is*
supposedly strange code, but anyway..)

That excuse with the unmanageable code base was coming from those who were
supposed to actually pay the programmer.

That's how I remember the story. I'm sure soemone will prove me wrong.
