DeskJet?

   I've decided to take my IIe out of mothballs and am looking to upgrade
it a little. Has anyone successfully hooked up an HP deskjet to a IIe? 
I've read that it can be done, but I would like to hear from people who
have actually done it.  I have a 128k IIe and would be using the printer
mostly from Appleworks(don't know version number, don't presently have
access to machine).
