I have some zip disks formatted HFS standard, & at least one of them
running GenEx first & then formatting using ADU on the IIGS
The Mac - Intel OS 10.6 reads them as locked - though they are not - so
I can't copy anything onto the disk.
The same disk works OK on a non-intel running 10.4.
So is it the Intel, or 10.6 causing the problem?
Or something else I am missing?
For convenience I'd like to download stuff from my 10.6 machine to
sneakernet to the IIGS via the zip. Had done so in past but now this
new wrinkle of a LOCKED disk in 10.6 {though not locked 10.4 non-intel
or the IIGS}
Is there a fix? Have the same issue if the zip is formatted on the GS
or the mac...
