If you don't have a hardrive, download a copy of Andy McFadden's
'Zippy' program (it's a 3K file that runs under ProDOS 8) and copy it
to a blank floppy disk with ProDOS. You may wish to rename it to
"ZIPPY.SYSTEM" so it launched automatically. Now all you have to do
is boot the 3.5" (or even 5.25") diskette and you can easily disable
your ZipGS or control any of it's other functions. Just do so before
you load up any games or other software. You should be able to find
a copy at:

ftp://apple2.caltech.edu/pub/apple2/utils/zippy.shk (or close to that)

Version 1.1 is the newest release, I'd get that one since the
original had trouble detecting higher speed Zip boards. I keep a
copy of Zippy in the root directory of my hardrive boot partition
myself (comes in handy quite often). The rest of the time I use FTA's
SuperZip CDA for when I'm booted into GS/OS.
