Gee everybody sure posted some helpful replies didn't they. What a bunch
of jerks.
Anyways, I also have Applewin, and don't have any problems with it. If the
text is "blurred" on the emulator, chances are it would be blurred on a
real //e also (by "blurred" I assume you mean colored, funny-looking
letters). What happens when you change the screen to monochrome (green)
mode? Applewin does a very good impersonation of a //e, warts and all. I
use my mouse as a joystick without too much trouble.
OTOH, you can always give APP2PC a try. It's a DOS (not a windows)
program, but runs OK under Win95. It's *much* faster than Applewin,
emulates a //+, //e, or //c if you have the proper ROM images, and also
supports virtual "hard drives" in slot 7 along with virtual floppy disk
files.
Also, there is XGS, a //gs emulator that runs on Win95. It's a very early
beta (alpha really, as it's not feature complete, let alone bug free), but
works OK and runs the (limited) stuff I've tried on it. It's *really* cool
to see System 6.01 running on this pentium PC.
Good luck.
