I have the New Print Shop on 3.5" disc, so I think if you set up the
directory structure like mine, it will probably work. First, format your
3.5" disc and name it /psa. Then copy ProDOS onto the disc. Next, copy the
file PS.SYSTEM onto the disc. Catalog side A of your 5.25" disc, and note
the name of any subdirectories in the root directory. There will probably
be one with a name like "PS" or something. Create a new subdirectory on
your new 3.5" disc with the same name. In addition, create a new directory
with the name "PSL.DATA3".

Now, you will want to copy all the files from the subdirectory named "PS"
or whatever into the subdirectory of the same name on the 3.5" disc. I
have never used the 5.25" disc version of the New Print Shop, but I
suspect that the program itself uses both sides of the 5.25" disc. You
will need to check the side B of the 5.25" disc and see if there is
subdirectory on it with the same name as the one on the side A. If there
is, be sure to put all the files from it into subdirectory "PS" on the
3.5" drive. There may be duplicates on the two sides. I don't think you
will have to copy over any duplicates.

The subdirectory "PSL.DATA3" is for the graphics, fonts and borders that
come with the New Print Shop. Within that subdirectory, you will need to
create 4 new subdirectories. One will be named "GRAPHICS", one will be
named "FONTS", one will be named "BORDERS" and the final one will be named
"USER". One or more of your data discs will contain the graphics that come
with the New Print Shop program (as opposed to the Party Edition, Special
Edition or School Edition). Copy all the files from the subdirectories on
those discs to subdirectories of the same name on the your new 3.5" disc.
This should give you New Print Shop and a library of graphics on one 3.5"
disc.

This is correct. When creating a new 3.5" disc to hold all the files from
the Party Edition, Special Edition or School Edition, be sure that the
volume name starts with the 4 characters "PSL." This is how New print Shop
recognizes library discs. Also be sure to create the 4 subdirectories as
before and put the files into the correct subdirectory.
