   Yes, but the quality is rather atrocious for 80-column text, the
GS's super hires modes and thin fonts, etc. If all you're trying to do
is play games or 40-column mode, it'll work fine. In short, don't
expect monitor quality output from a TV simply because TVs' resolution
is much lower.

   Apple IIs have a RCA connector in back; you can connect that to the
'video in' of a VCR or semi-modern TV [it used not to be common, but
is definitely getting more common]. Or, if there's no RCA video in, go
to your local Radio Shack (or equivalent) and buy a 'RF modulator'--
that translates from the video signal to usually either channel 3 or
4, and you can plug that into prety much any TV.
