Actually there is a driver called "Capture Port Driver", written
by David Empson and probably available at the ground site.
You would choose "Capture" when using the DirectConnect CDev (instead of
printer) and then choose the printer used by the other machine you want to
print from. (I used a PC at work that had a LaserJet so I would use one of
7Hills Laserjet drivers)
You would just print as normal but it would be saved on the hard drive.
Transfer that file to the other machine and "copy filename LPT1 /b" and it
comes out as if it was connected to the GS. Very nice little driver for
those who can benefit in this type of setup...

The Capture driver only works in GS/OS. Don't know of any 8 bit version
that would do the same.
