   I suspect that this disk has the SCSI ID of 7. That causes disks to
be duplicated online. Set it to a value from 1-6, not conflicting with
any other devices on the chain.

   A set of SCSI tips and techniques (including a warning on using ID
7), as well as many other things can be found in the comp.sys.apple2
