Checking on the back of my Unidisk 5.25" this is the exact same drive.

Except for the fact that it doesn't have any db25 connectors.

Well, unless mine is a completely different version, it would only have a 
db19 connector.  There is no removable cable on my drive, either.  
Granted my drive was purchased the same time my parents bought a new IIgs 
system back in 1986 or 1987.

I thought the drive was a snow-white color....oh well :)

Based upon the listed part number, it is nothing but a simple Unidisk 
5.25".  My suggestion--recount the pins.  If not, perhaps Apple made 
different versions of the Unidisk.  Mine is serial number KC48358.
