What I do:  view a JPG under whatever program (jpeGS, JPGview), then
while it is on the screen use the CDA "SHR.Screen.Saver" to capture the
screen as a SHR.  I view the whole bunch of .pics with Show Me!.

 TC(| Your best bet would be to use djpeg to convert them to GIFs and
    | then use one of your current programs to do the GIF-->SHR

That sounds really messy, and the JPG viewers work a bit better than the
GIF viewers IMHO (nothing against ImageQuant per se)...
