I don't know if this affects Laserwriter printing too, but my copy of
Writer's Choice Elite has problems with the System 6.0.1 Imagewriter
driver. Everything prints, but if the document contains any graphics,
the colors come out all messed up. I believe this is because the
Imagewriter driver's method of supporting non-default color tables changed
radically somewhere between ProDOS 16 and GS/OS 6.0.1. Writer's Choice
Elite is probably depending on the old method.
So given that WCE is probably making obsolete assumptions about the
Imagewriter driver, it't not too much of a leap to conclude that it's also
making obsolete assumptions about the Laserwriter driver. You might want
to copy your old Laserwriter driver (from the OS you were using before you
upgraded to 6.0.1) into the System:Drivers folder on your hard disk (with a
different name, of course, so it doesn't clobber the System 6.0.1 driver),
and try printing through the old driver instead of the 6.0.1 driver.
