   To check on your installed main RAM, use the built-in text control
panel to see the size listed under the RAM Disk's 'Largest Selectable'
size and add 256K to that. This does not count 'slinky' ram cards like
the RamFactor, PC Transporter, etc, as those are not accessed the same
way as the rest of the GS's main RAM, and require special programming
to talk to them. Almost no GS programs take advantage of that RAM
(only stuff like Appleworks classic), so Slinky ramcards should not be
counted in your RAM.

   Sounds like you have an Applied Engineering Vulcan or an Applied
Ingenuity Innerdrive internal hard drive, but not the controller card.
(FAQ, section 4.17) Without this card, the drive is pretty much
useless. Your transwarp cannot act as a drive controller, so don't
connect the drive to there.

   Go to the text control panel, check the slot and port settings
for slot 1 and the printer port.
