No, If it were Apple, rather than some engineers at Apple working on it
in their spare time, Apple would have announced GuS and printed T-shirts
in 1994, issued a press release concerning the missed ship date in 1995,
insisted that the project was still on track in 1996, announcing an early
'97 release and by now Apple would have announced that the project had
been canceled and that Apple was purchasing Fast Eddie and hoped to have
it
integrated into the Mac OS sometime in 1998.
